Job summary

Members Cooperative Credit Union is seeking an Engagement Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for members, building meaningful connections and delivering an outstanding member experience. You will identify financial needs and educate members on solutions to support their goals while processing transactions accurately and in compliance.

In this role you will engage members, promote products and services, and participate in community outreach to strengthen relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years in a customer service or sales-focused role; financial institution experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash accurately and efficiently.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, delivering an exceptional experience with every interaction.
• Process a variety of financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers, while ensuring policy compliance.
• Educate members on credit union products and services and recommend suitable solutions for financial goals.
• Meet or exceed sales and service goals through active engagement and relationship-building.
• Provide personalized guidance, financial education, and access to resources for members' financial success.
• Promote the credit union through community outreach and member engagement activities.
