Job summary

The Cameron, NC YMCA is seeking a Membership Services Coordinator to support member and program participant services, registrations, and relations. You will help implement new procedures, maintain records, and assist with monthly reports.

You will build member relationships, participate in fundraising activities, and train staff on customer service and database use while ensuring inventory and equipment upkeep across the branch.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent education and experience required.
• 1–2 years’ nonprofit experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Organizational and supervisory abilities, with attention to records and POS.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for improving member services and relations.
• Maintain membership/program records and cash controls; assist monthly reports.
• Prepare and process third-party billing reports; ensure timeliness.
• Implement front desk procedures; communicate changes to staff.
• Support departmental goals and fundraising activities.
• Build relationships with members and help them connect with others.
• Oversee staff training on membership systems and customer service.
• Manage department inventory, supplies, and equipment maintenance.
• Attend staff meetings and YMCA trainings.
