Job summary

YMCA of Greater Waukesha County is seeking a part-time Greeter/Scanner at the Waukesha location to welcome members and guests, verify IDs, and share information on YMCA programs. You will maintain a friendly front desk and support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and using computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, nurturing environment for members and guests.
• Verify identity and membership status at entry.
• Greet members by name and assist with program information.
• Respond to inquiries and handle complaints professionally.
• Answer phones and route calls appropriately.
• Adhere to YMCA safety policies and procedures.
• Know emergency procedures and how to contact 911 and supervisors.
• Open or close the facility per hours and secure it.
