YMCA of the Cedar Rapids Metro Area is seeking a Part-Time Membership Experience Specialist in Reynoldsburg, OH to welcome members, process memberships and payments, and connect people with programs and services. You will balance cash and maintain records while guiding guests through tours and enrollment.

The role emphasizes friendly customer service, accurate data handling, and adherence to YMCA policies, with training in Daxko and safety procedures required within 30–90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and at least two years of related experience and/or training.
• Belief in the Y’s cause of nurturing youth and healthy living.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people.
• Basic computer skills such as knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
• Proven track record of developing authentic relationships with others.
• Must complete all required Welcome Desk and Daxko trainings in first 30 days.
• CPR, First Aid, AED and O2 certifications must be obtained within 90 days.
• Must keep certifications current throughout employment.
• All staff must complete the Y’s safety training through Kronos checklist.

Responsabilités

• Scans membership cards of all entering the building and welcomes members by name.
• Grants access to the facility and provides information about membership and payments.
• Maintains accurate records of transactions and shift activity, balancing a cash drawer.
• Helps members connect with others and with YMCA programs and services.
• Provides facility tours and follows up with prospective members to establish memberships.
• Ensures the Welcome Desk is clean, welcoming, and adequately stocked.
• Follows YMCA policies and responds to emergency situations.
