Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Member Experience Ambassador to foster meaningful connections with members and guests. You will guide new members through the FitStart program, assist with app setup, and showcase club amenities and promotions to tailor experiences. Maintain a clean, safe environment and deliver exceptional service.

Excellent communication, basic computer skills, and a genuine passion for fitness are required. Flexible shifts, weekend availability, and CPR readiness are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Passionate about fitness and helping others on their fitness journey.
• Basic fitness and sales experience.
• Excellent communication and listening skills in person and on the phone.
• Demonstrated customer service experience: friendly, outgoing demeanor.
• Works well under pressure and time constraints.
• Willing to work flexible shifts: evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Bilingual skills a plus.
• CPR certification within 60 days of hire date or current CPR.

Responsibilities

• Get to know members and prospective members; help determine best membership option.
• Support new members through FitStart program and club orientation.
• Assist members with app download and getting started.
• Give club tours and highlight amenities and programs.
• Stock/sell/recommend retail items aligned with members' goals.
• Provide excellent customer service and process membership changes.
• Maintain a welcoming, safe, and clean club environment; follow safety policies.
• Monitor pool/slide during season and enforce rules where applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
