Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Waterloo, IA seeks a Member Service Representative (MSR) to deliver high-quality member service across daily transactions and inquiries. This front-line role acts as the face of the credit union, requiring accuracy, integrity, teamwork, and a commitment to service excellence.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm with added Saturday shifts. Qualified candidates will demonstrate cash handling accuracy, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to balance daily

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling, sales and customer service experience desired.
• Must be bondable.
• Accuracy in handling cash and daily transactions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service for all transactions and inquiries.
• Balance and reconcile cash drawer; maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures and security measures.
• Refer members to specialized departments for products and services.
• Perform routine member transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, checks, etc.).
