Job summary

GreenState Credit Union in Iowa seeks a Member Service Representative to deliver exceptional service, build lasting member relationships, and identify opportunities for additional business. The role emphasizes accuracy, integrity, and teamwork in a community-focused environment.

This hourly position includes paid incentives and a progressive benefits package, with daily cash handling and routine outreach to members. Reports to the Manager Retail Branch.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of similar or related experience or 12 months in an MSR role with knowledge of all credit union accounts and products with proven ability to handle a wide variety of functions quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the Credit Union Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
• Demonstrates a positive member service focus at all times, greeting members and guests with a smile and eye contact upon arrival, using their name and thanking them for their business.
• Builds member relationships by recognizing financial needs and offering GreenState products or referrals to specialized departments.
• Balances cash drawer daily and understands cash handling policies and procedures.
• Makes weekly outbound sales calls to members.
• Participates in promotions and departmental activities to support team goals.
