Job summary

YMCA of Southern Maine is seeking a Membership Services Representative to build relationships with members and deliver friendly, professional customer service. The role supports membership operations, processes transactions accurately, and maintains data integrity while aligning with the YMCA’s mission and core values.

The position includes evening hours (3:00pm–8:00pm) across multiple Maine locations, including Portland, Freeport and Biddeford.

Qualifications

Strong communication skills and respectful interaction with members.
Ability to provide friendly, professional service at all times.
Ability to stay organized and attentive to member needs.
Comfort handling multiple tasks and interruptions during shifts.

Responsibilities

Relationship Building: greet members, assess needs, provide accurate information.

Operations & Safety: know membership policies and convey them accurately.
