Job summary

YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a friendly, part-time Membership Representative at Hendersonville Family YMCA to greet members, drive engagement, and connect people to programs like swim, sports, and childcare.

You will use Daxko Operations to process memberships, explain benefits, and deliver exceptional service on site and by phone; bilingual English–Spanish is preferred. This role offers a welcoming environment and opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Bilingual English–Spanish preferred.
• A working knowledge of computers or ability to learn within 90 days (MS Word, MS Excel, Daxko helpful).
• BLS requirement: CPR and First Aid skills and/or assist in emergencies.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets members and prospective members entering facilities.
• Communicates YMCA value and membership benefits to the community.
• Uses Daxko Operations to sell memberships and register participants for programs.
• Understands program offerings, pricing, policies and procedures; proficient in Daxko Operations.
• Provides excellent service to members, guests, and program participants on-site and by phone.
• Engages prospective members during tours highlighting the Y’s community work.
• Attends staff meetings and trainings; performs other duties as assigned.
