Job summary

Texas Trust Credit Union is seeking a Member Advocate I to assist members with everyday transactions and tailor guidance to their financial needs. You will build rapport and help make members part of the Texas Trust family.

You will greet customers, use their name, and provide multi-channel banking options while staying compliant with policies and regulations. Strong communication and accuracy are essential. Weekend shifts may be required to cover Saturdays.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience
• Minimum of 1 year of teller/CSR experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to operate multiple computer systems efficiently
• Ability to work independently with strong organization

Responsibilities

• Create a member experience that makes them feel welcomed.
• Exceed member expectations while following policies and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with members and present solutions to deepen relationships in person, by phone, and in writing.
• Transition members to other areas for additional financial needs.
• Educate members on online and mobile banking options.
• Collaborate with other departments to satisfy member requests.
• Be flexible to assist in other lines of business.
• Identify fraud and take action to prevent losses.
• Foster a culture of Yes And with the team.
• Comply with regulations and laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
