Job summary

Texas Trust Credit Union is seeking a Member Advocate I to assist members with everyday transactions and tailor guidance to meet their financial needs. You will help build rapport and welcome members into the Texas Trust family, supporting them across in-person, phone, and written communications.

The position emphasizes integrity, confidentiality, and excellent written and verbal communication, with potential Saturday shifts and the ability to work across departments to meet member needs.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of teller/CSR experience preferred.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to operate multiple computer systems efficiently.
• Organized, meticulous self-starter who can work independently.
• Strong processing, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Strong work ethic and adaptable team player mentality.
• Integrity and commitment to member satisfaction.
• Professional written and verbal communications skills.
• Proactive in sourcing, acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with members and colleagues.
• Must be able to work most Saturdays.
• Position may require sitting or standing for extended periods and lifting under 10 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a member experience that makes them feel welcomed and personalizes interactions.
• Exceed member expectations while following policies and regulations and build relationships.
• Engage with members and present member-focused solutions in person, by phone and in writing.
• Transition members to other areas to address extended financial needs.
• Educate members on banking via online and mobile solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to fulfill member requests.
• Be flexible and assist in other lines of business as needed.
• Identify fraud risks and take action to prevent losses.
• Uphold the organization’s culture and Yes And approach.
• Comply with regulations and laws.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
