Job summary

BECU is seeking a Member Consultant II to deliver an exceptional member experience and responsible sales across banking products. You will support a pod across Hawks Prairie, Lacey, and Tumwater, rotating through branches for up to a year, with travel to Tukwila for training and a 12-week onboarding.

The role requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, at least two years in a sales-oriented environment, and strong systems proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment.
• Spanish language fluency highly desirable.
• Thorough understanding of the sales process and ability to manage a sales pipeline efficiently.
• Strong proficiency and comfort with learning new systems and programs; ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
• Ability to successfully complete 12-week in-house training program after hire.
• Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of Credit Union key objectives, product and service solutions.
• Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations pertaining to membership, deposit, and loan products and services offered.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member experience and sales consultation for business services, consumer lending, deposits, IRA, POA, and fiduciary accounts.
• Sign all line and loan documents that originate through the call center, ensuring members' needs are fulfilled.
• Assist the community with financial wellness through education programs, budgeting assistance, debt management, and access to planning resources.
