Job summary

BECU in the Puget Sound region is hiring a Member Consultant II to deliver a seamless, high-quality member experience across a busy retail pod. You’ll use product knowledge to sell and serve, handling consumer lending, deposit services, and fiduciary accounts while signing documents and supporting financial wellness.

Training emphasizes cross-branch rotations within the Soundview District, with a focus on 12-week in-house instruction and a year-long commitment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience.
• Two years of experience in a sales-oriented, financial, or retail environment.
• Spanish language fluency highly desirable (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member experience and sales consultations across product areas including business services, consumer lending, deposit servicing, IRA, POA, and Fiduciary accounts.
• Sign all line and loan documents originated through the call center, ensuring member needs are met.
• Assist the community with financial wellness through budgeting, education programs, or access to financial planning resources.
