Job summary

EdFed is seeking a Member Representative to deliver outstanding member service at our branch locations in New York. You will serve as a consultant on deposits and loans, resolve issues promptly, and identify member needs with referrals to EdFed products and services.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, opening accounts, assisting with online banking, handling safe deposit access, and supporting branch lobby efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better required.
• Associates degree or higher preferred.
• Excellent member service and communication skills.
• Ability to travel between branches as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional member service for deposits and loans and resolve inquiries.
• Process transactions, transfers, and payments accurately.
• Assist with online banking setup and account documentation.
• Promote and explain EdFed products and services; refer as appropriate.
• Serve as lobby leader and guide walk-in members to the right information source.
• Support high school branch liaison and community events as needed.
• Work Saturdays and travel to other branches as required.
• Participate in team meetings and branch strategy discussions.
