Job summary

STCU - Spokane Teachers Credit Union is hiring a Member Consultant to create unparalleled in-person experiences for existing and prospective members. You will interview at origination, maintain accounts, and handle transactional requests while identifying opportunities to expand relationships.

The role emphasizes high accuracy, strong product knowledge, and delivering on the Here for Good brand promise in a fast-paced credit union environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years' experience in teller/new accounts/service role at a financial institution.
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams.
• Must be able to regularly talk, hear and operate a computer, keyboard and mouse and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds with accommodations.
• Exposure to office sounds; high-stress, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• May be asked to travel to other STCU locations.
• Other duties as assigned for efficient operation of the department and organization.

Responsibilities

• Protect the integrity and confidentiality of membership; perform transactional duties with high accuracy per policies and balancing standards.
• Originate and expand member relationships by reviewing members' financial position and recommending products/services.
• Exceed service expectations by creating unparalleled member experiences and upholding the Here for Good brand promise.
