Job summary

University of Virginia Community Credit Union is seeking a Teller I-III to educate Members on financial products and services and to refer Members to additional resources within the Credit Union. You will provide exceptional Member service and accurately process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions.

The role is tiered (Teller I, II, III) with compensation commensurate with experience. Prior cash handling experience and bilingual English/Spanish are strongly preferred to support

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Placement within Tier I, II, or III is related to prior experience.
• Exceptional communication skills are required.
• Approachable and friendly demeanor is important.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills are required.
• Some cash handling experience is preferred.
• Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred; additional compensation may apply.

Responsibilities

• Educate Members on financial products and services.
• Refer Members to additional resources and products within the Credit Union.
• Provide high-quality Member service and build positive relationships.
• Process transactions such as deposits and withdrawals accurately and efficiently.
