Job summary

University of Virginia Community Credit Union in Crozet, VA seeks a Teller to educate Members on financial products, process transactions, and build lasting relationships. The role is tiered (Teller I–III) with compensation based on experience.

You will identify referral opportunities within the credit union, provide excellent Member service, and adhere to Credit Union policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• We provide all the training you need to be successful.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Placement within Tier I, II, or III of the position is related to prior experience.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Approachable and friendly.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Some cash handling experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Members are promptly and professionally served
• Actively educate and refer Members to resources available within the Credit Union
• Refer products and services to our Members
• Process transactions such as deposits and withdrawals as well as other banking transactions
