Job summary

University of Virginia Community Credit Union seeks a Teller to educate Members on financial products and services, build positive relationships, and provide accurate, friendly service. The Teller role is tiered into Teller I, II, and III, with compensation based on experience.

You will process deposits and withdrawals, refer products and services to Members, and ensure compliance with Credit Union policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Placement within Tier I, II, or III of the position is related to prior experience.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Approachable and friendly
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
• Some cash handling experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve Members promptly and professionally
• Actively educate and refer Members to resources available within the Credit Union
• Refer products and services to Members
• Process transactions such as deposits and withdrawals as well as other banking transactions
