Job summary

University of Virginia Community Credit Union in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Teller to educate Members on financial products, process transactions accurately, and build lasting relationships with Members. The position is tiered into Teller I, II, and III, with compensation commensurate with experience.

You will refer products and services, support a culture of service excellence, and participate in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year of experience in a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Approachable and friendly
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills
• Some cash handling experience is preferred
• Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred; additional compensation is available to those with this skill set

Responsibilities

• Ensure Members are promptly and professionally served
• Actively educate and refer Members to resources available within the Credit Union
• Refer products and services to our Members
• Process transactions such as deposits and withdrawals as well as other banking transactions
