Job summary

Mazuma Credit Union is hiring a Relationship Advisor – Personal Banker in Kansas City, MO. You will be the first point of contact for Members, offering guidance, presenting financial solutions, and fostering long-term relationships. This role emphasizes service, accuracy, and a proactive, Member-focused mindset.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule with some weekend coverage and a strong emphasis on teamwork, growth, and a positive culture within Mazuma.

Qualifications

• 1 year cash handling experience or demonstrated equivalent
• 1 year of sales and/or advising experience
• 1 year of customer service in hospitality or financial context

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional experience to Members by identifying financial needs and providing personalized solutions.
• Process Member transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of service.
• Balance vault cash, teller drawers, cash recyclers and dispensing equipment per procedures.
• Open, service and maintain personal and small business accounts, CDs and IRAs.
• Open and maintain fiduciary accounts while ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Assist Members applying for consumer loans and guide them through the lending process.
• Assist Members with account disputes and complete required dispute documentation.
• Educate Members on digital banking tools, products and services that support their goals.
