Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union is seeking a Branch Lending Professional to engage members, assess financial needs, and guide them through loans and accounts. You will identify referrals to Mortgage, Business Services, and Advisors, while maintaining high service standards.

You will educate members on products, manage pipelines, and support branch goals, including deposits and loans, with an emphasis on accuracy, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• NMLS registration required under SAFE Act of 2008.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
• Excellent English communication, both verbal and written.
• Solid arithmetic and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of advanced banking products and services.
• Understanding of credit underwriting concepts.
• Notary appointment within 3 months.
• Branch Lending Training within 3 months.
• Detail oriented and well organized.
• Flexible and able to adapt to shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Engages members in conversations to assess financial needs and goals.
• Identifies referrals to Business Services, Mortgage, and Financial Advisors.
• Processes account opening/maintenance, loan applications, and transactions.
• Follows member service standards and provides first contact issue resolution.
• Supports branch goals including loan and deposit production and new member growth.
• Educates members on products and helps establish those products/services.
• Promotes convenient financial tools and technology to members.
• Makes outbound sales and service calls and records interactions.
• Manages loan and deposit pipelines and follows up on leads.
