Job summary

Truliant Federal Credit Union in North Carolina seeks a Mortgage Loan Officer to guide members through homeownership with confidence. You will grow residential mortgage business, build referral networks and deliver a thoughtful lending experience from first conversation through closing.

You will partner with processors and underwriters, stay current on lending programs and regulatory requirements, and explain options clearly to members.

Qualifications

• 1+ years residential mortgage lending experience
• Proven ability to prospect, generate leads, close business
• Established referral network including real estate pros, builders, COI
• Ability to analyze financial and credit information and present financing options
• Strong communication in English, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Grow residential mortgage business and build referral networks
• Explain mortgage options and gather information for applications
• Collaborate with processors, underwriters and mortgage team to ensure smooth origination to closing
• Stay current on lending programs and regulatory requirements
• Provide updates to members and business partners
