Job summary

Collective Health is seeking passionate, temporary Member Advocate Contractors in Lehi, UT. You’ll be the first point of contact for members, guiding them through benefits and answering questions to help them navigate healthcare.

This hybrid role includes a structured training period and multiple shift options to support a high-volume environment. You’ll work with the Customer Experience team to deliver empathetic, accurate assistance and contribute to a culture that emphasizes service

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication across phone and email.
• Ability to navigate a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
• Comfort with learning new software and adapting to processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for Collective Health members via phone and email.
• Guide members through new health benefits and help them navigate their coverage.
• Support and promote a positive office culture aligned with company values.
• Report to a Team Lead and contribute to Tier 1 member support initiatives.

Training shift: 8am-5pm MT (first 4 weeks)
Post-training shifts: 8am - 4:30pm / 8:30am - 5pm / 9:30am - 6pm / 10am - 6:30pm / 10:30am - 7pm MT

Location - Hybrid: Lehi, UT office (2 days/week in office - Mondays & Tuesdays)

Collective Health is seeking passionate, temporary Member Advocate Contractors to join our Customer Experience team in Lehi, UT! At Collective Health, we believe Healthcare should be simple, accessible, and technology-driven. But moreover, we believe healthcare should be grounded by the people that it serves. We're looking for motivated individuals ready to elevate our member experience.

As a Member Advocate Contractor, you’ll be the first point of contact to Collective Health members. You will respond to high-volume, Tier 1 inquiries, guiding members through their new health benefits, answering account questions, and helping them navigate their benefits with ease.

What you'll do:

• Get an introduction into health insurance, benefits and network plans to support tier 1 member questions and support
• Connect with members via phone and email to address and resolve a variety of member inquiries to help people understand, navigate, and pay for healthcare
• Support and cultivate office culture that aligns with Collective Health values and incorporates the outstanding aspects of the team
• Reporting into a Team Lead, this will be an essential role at Collective Health

Your skills include:

• Have a want to help others with healthcare situations and have a resiliency mindset that can consistently create empathy with each and every one of our members
• Have outstanding interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, and will use this to navigate sophisticated and moving member inquiries
• You have the ability to adapt well in a fast-paced high volume environment to deliver personalized and eloquent member service
• Ability to learn new software programs and adapt quickly to new processes
• You are technologically savvy
• Maintain composure and compassion when balancing a high volume of tasks

Nice to have:

• 1+ years of experience in a fast paced work environment
• 1+ years experience in customer-facing role
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Prior healthcare experience
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree

Pay Transparency Statement

This is a hybrid contract position based out of our Lehi, UT office. Hybrid contractors are expected to be in the office two days per week (Lehi, UT).

Contract Hourly Pay Range

$19.80 — $19.80 USD
