Job summary

TRUE Community Credit Union is seeking a full-time Member Advisor II at our Livonia Branch to help members navigate everyday banking needs and build financial confidence.

You will process deposits, withdrawals, transfers and loan payments while engaging members in personalized conversations to recommend suitable products and solutions. Strong service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a financial institution preferred.
• Lending, account opening, and sales experience preferred.
• Strong member service and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to navigate multiple systems and software applications.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and other account transactions with accuracy.
• Engage members in conversations to uncover financial needs and recommend products and services.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts and assist with consumer loan applications.
• Educate members on fraud prevention and account security.
• Build trusted relationships and strengthen member relationships with every interaction.

TRUE Community Credit Union is looking for a full-time Member Advisor II to join our team at our Livonia Branch.

As a Member Advisor II, you'll help members navigate financial decisions, celebrate milestones, and build financial confidence. Every interaction is an opportunity to build trust, strengthen relationships, and create a positive member experience.

Pay & Benefits

• $18.10 - $19.60/hour

Schedule

Approximately 40 hours per week, including:

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
• Saturdays (rotating): 8:45 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

What You'll Do

As a Member Advisor, you'll assist members with their everyday banking needs while providing knowledgeable guidance and support. You'll process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other account transactions with accuracy and efficiency. Beyond processing transactions, you'll engage members in meaningful conversations to uncover financial needs and recommend appropriate products, services, and solutions that support their goals.

You'll open and maintain deposit accounts, assist with consumer loan applications, educate members on fraud prevention and account security, and help members make informed financial decisions. Success in this role comes from building trusted relationships, delivering personalized service, and strengthening the overall member relationship through every interaction.

Minimum Qualifications
