Job summary

Park View Federal Credit Union in Broadway, VA is seeking a Member Advisor for our Contact Center to help members improve their financial lives and grow their careers. You will handle transactions, accounts, online banking, and card services while guiding members to the best products for their goals.

Job Location: Broadway - Broadway, VA 22815

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with members to improve their financial lives while growing their own career. Come join our Member Advisor Team in our Contact Center, where you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our members every day.

Here are some of the responsibilities:

• As a Member Advisor, you would work directly with Park View members on a wide variety of services (some examples include transactions, accounts, online banking, and cards) and advise them how to best use our products and services to meet personal financial goals.
• Member Advisors build relationships with our members. When members have a financial need, we want them to think of Park View first, because you have already shown them you are an active listener and can help solve their problems.
• Member Advisors must learn a lot about our products and services to help members determine which will help them reach their goals. We have a great training program in place to get you there, but it takes a lot of effort on your part.
• We are also looking for someone who would enhance our already great work environment. Someone who loves working as a team, solving problems, learning new things, being creative, working hard, and having fun while doing so.

The budgeted pay range for this role is $19.16 - $23.42, depending on qualifications** (Our typical Member Advisor pay at hire is $22.80). **All Member Advisors are eligible to participate in an advanced training program that provides up to nearly a 12% increase in base pay upon successful completion.

Qualifications

• A college education Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must be friendly and represent the credit union in a professional and positive manner.
• Competence with computer technology.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• A desire to learn and progress.
• Ability to be flexible with hours and days off. We try to accommodate your needs but must be fully staffed and ready to serve members Monday through Saturday. Our full-time work week is around 40 hours.
• Knowledge of and experience with financial products and services is a big plus. This includes sound management of personal finances, too.

What kind of experience can be translated into success?

• Six months to two years of related experience is required. Our team includes those who have worked in schools, resorts, grocery stores, and a variety of roles including management.
