Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano, WI, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Melt Department on 3rd shift. You will lead production teams, coach employees, and drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement across a fast-paced casting operation.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with maintenance, quality, and engineering to meet daily goals and optimize resources.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, industrial, foundry, metal processing, or related production experience.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong ability to prioritize, delegate, and follow up on multiple responsibilities.
• Proven coaching, employee development, and team-building skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and shifts.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and urgency.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Address production challenges and implement effective solutions.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with all company safety policies and procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
• Support Environmental, Quality, and Safety Management System requirements.
