Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech in Winston-Salem, NC to ensure residents receive medications safely and with dignity. You will administer meds per orders, document in MAR/TAR in real time, and monitor residents closely for health changes.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, medication administration certification, CPR and First Aid, plus strong documentation and communication skills. Senior care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
