Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity for residents. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time, monitor residents, and report any concerns promptly while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualities include strong documentation and communication skills, CPR/First Aid certs, and a preference for senior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
