Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments to residents with precision and compassion. You will follow physician orders, observe responses, and document in MAR/TAR in real time, ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes detailed medication management, adherence to the Six Rights, and clean, organized workspaces within a supportive team focused on quality of life for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
