Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living Mgmt Inc is seeking a Medication Aide / Med Tech to deliver safe, accurate medication care to residents in our Arlington community. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and ensure documentation is complete and timely while upholding dignity and respect for residents.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medication Administration certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief
• Report refusals or concerns promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms
• Follow infection control and safety standards
