Job summary

Georgetown University's Center for Global Health Practice and Impact (CGHPI) seeks a Program Assistant to provide meeting support, events planning, and logistics management for the Ending the HIV Epidemic in the U.S. – Technical Assistance Provider (EHE-TAP) project.

The role ensures seamless execution of events across the EHE-TAP program. The Program Assistant will coordinate logistics, travel, schedules, and provide administrative support while serving as the primary contact for project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in event management, business administration, program management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience relevant to the role.
  • Excellent project management and administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Skilled negotiator and problem-solver.
  • Highly organized and disciplined, and ability to relate easily to a wide range of groups.

  • Willingness to travel domestically.

Responsibilities

  • Provide meeting support, events planning, and logistics management for the EHE-TAP project.
  • Plan, organize, and execute program meetings, regional workshops, learning collaboratives, and technical assistance workshops.
  • Serve as central point of contact for project meetings; manage all event logistics.
  • Coordinate travel, schedules, and provide administrative support to internal and external partners.
  • Communicate with EHE jurisdictions and Georgetown operational units to ensure project success.
