Job summary

NMAC is seeking a Program Manager for the Center to End the Epidemic to oversee CDC-funded initiatives and lead workforce development, health equity, and HIV outcomes. The role requires managing work plans, timelines, and stakeholder engagement, with strong emphasis on cross‑functional collaboration and program evaluation.

Hybrid work with travel for meetings, trainings, and community engagement. Internal candidates with knowledge of NMAC’s mission are preferred; candidates should have 3–6 years

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Public Health, Public Administration, Social Work, Education, Communications, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 3–6 years of nonprofit program management and community engagement experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to assigned staff.
  • Coordinate program work plans, timelines, calendars, and implementation activities.
  • Monitor program progress and communicate updates to leadership.
  • Develop agendas and materials for meetings, trainings, and events.
  • Ensure compliance with funder requirements and organizational policies.
  • Represent NMAC professionally in external engagements.
