  • Coordinate event calendars and communicate schedules with vendors and team.

About the Role

As a CBRE Meeting & Events Coordinator, you will assist with the coordination and execution of small to medium meetings, conferences, and events.

This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. They are responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients and visitors of a designated building.

What You’ll Do
  • Primary point of contact for booking meeting rooms. Provide support for larger and more complex meetings as needed.
  • Create a hospitable environment for attendees, event owners, and vendors on the day of the event.
  • Assist with conference room turnover and midday room refresh. Reconfigure rooms for evening indoor and outdoor spaces. Take direction from senior team members.
  • Conduct room set up, refresh, and removal of food, beverage, and service items. Maintain outlines of small space configurations, decor possibilities, and event-related event items.
  • Complete room checks and ensure technical and visual spaces are functional. Troubleshoot audio and technical issues.
  • Conduct building walkthroughs to check for any facilities issues.
  • Coordinate master meeting and events calendar for small to medium-sized event spaces. Communicate events schedule with team and service providers.
  • Assist with post-event reporting and reconciliation. Escalate potential issues and concerns as appropriate.
  • Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
  • Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
  • Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
  • Fulfill the physical requirements associated with this role. This includes stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs. Must be able to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
  • Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

The minimum salary for the Meeting and Events Coordinator position is $60,000 annually [or $28.85 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Meeting and Events Coordinator position is $63,000 annually [or $30.29 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience.
