Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Group Manager of Software to lead a small software team responsible for procedural software used in medical devices. The role emphasizes architecture, development, and cross-functional collaboration in an Agile environment.

The candidate will contribute as a technical leader and manager, guiding design control practices and ensuring device software compliance while supporting testing, documentation, and external collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 7-10 years of professional experience or Master’s degree with 5-7 years of experience.
• Experience in Medical Device development.
• Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Experience with GIT source control and pull request processes a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as a key contributor in small or large teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small software development team developing procedural software applications.
• Create and maintain product and system software architecture.
• Define, manage and track development timelines using agile methodologies.
• Develop prototypes, proofs of concept in addition to production-quality solutions.
• Ensure efficient performance and scalability of solutions.
• Contribute to verification and validation testing activities as well as documentation.
• Support the development of integration/unit tests and documentation.
• Attend procedural cadaver labs and surgeries.
