Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Software Engineering Co-ops for the Summer 2027 term within our MedTech sector, located in Cincinnati, OH. At Johnson & Johnson, we believe health is everything.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0; must have completed at least two semesters prior to term.
• Experience in software engineering using C, C++, and Python.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op; visa sponsorship not needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product software that integrates with mechanical, electrical, and distributed computing systems.
• Develop test tools for product software in an integrated environment.
• Document designs and specifications per design control processes; conform to IEC 62304.
• Take advantage of on-site and virtual training courses; rotations are 3–4 months long.
