Job summary

Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting R&D Co‑Ops for the Spring 2027 term in Cincinnati, OH. You will work in the Design/Development group, performing testing, data interpretation and design validation under seasoned mentorship.

Applicants should be enrolled in Mechanical, Biomedical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum 3.0 GPA, eligible to work in the U.S., and prepared for on‑site rotations of 3–4 months with housing support for non‑local students.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited college/institution pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. (PhD degree may be considered)
• Must have completed a minimum of two semesters in school prior to the beginning of the co‑op term (sophomore or above)
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co‑op term

Responsibilities

• Use state of the art tools and take advantage of training courses offered on‑site.
• Perform testing, experimentation, and validation to support product design.
• Contribute to design solution activity using CAD and simulation tools with mentorship from engineers.
• Assist in developing laboratory testing and interpreting data results.
• Opportunities to receive intermediate CAD training including building simulation models and stack‑up analysis.
