Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for R&D Design & Development Co-ops for the Spring 2027 term in Cincinnati, OH. Rotations are 3–4 months with opportunities for multiple rotations, offering hands-on CAD training and access to on-site labs.

Applicants must be enrolled in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering, with at least two semesters completed and a 3.0 GPA. Authorization to work in the U.S. for the full term is required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Electrical Engineering (PhD may be considered).
• Must have completed at least two semesters prior to co‑op start; sophomore or above.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co‑op term.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Availability to work full‑time on-site during term; courses must be outside business hours.

Responsibilities

• Use state-of-the-art tools and on-site training to support design.
• Perform testing, experimentation, and validation to support product design.
• Assist in developing laboratory testing and interpreting data results.
• Build CAD models, simulations, and perform stack‑up analysis as needed.
• Rotations are 3–4 months with opportunities for multiple rotations.
