Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Electrical Engineering Co-ops for the Summer 2027 term within our MedTech sector, located in Cincinnati, OH.

As a co-op, you will contribute to teams developing surgical instruments, robotics, and data acquisition systems, with opportunities to gain experience in circuit design, firmware, and analysis. Housing assistance is offered for non-local students, and rotations provide broad exposure across projects.

Qualifications

• Be enrolled in an accredited College/Institution pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Must have completed a minimum of two semesters in school prior to the beginning of the co-op term
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for the full duration of the co-op term
• Interest in the Medical Device Industry
• Basic knowledge of Analog hardware design and analysis, Embedded Systems, Circuit board troubleshooting, Lab measurements, MATLAB or Python

Responsibilities

• Contribute to teams developing electrical and electromechanical surgical instruments, surgical robotics, or data acquisition systems
• Perform testing, experimentation, and validation in support of product design
• Assist in developing laboratory testing, interpreting data results, and recommending next steps
