Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for Software Engineering Co-ops for the Summer 2027 term within our MedTech sector, located in Cincinnati, OH. You will design and develop product software to integrate with mechanical, electrical, and distributed computing systems, and develop test tools for a cohesive development environment.

Responsibilities broaden with rotations, and on-site training is provided. The program offers housing assistance for non-local students and exposure to IEC 62304 standards,

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in computer science, computer engineering, or related degree.
• Must have completed at least two semesters before co-op term starts.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher and legal work authorization in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop product software to integrate with mechanical, electrical, and distributed computing systems.
• Develop test tools to test product software in an integrated environment.
• Document designs and specifications per design control processes and IEC 62304 compliance.
• Rotations are 3–4 months with opportunities to return to school.
