Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an energetic Sales Professional to promote and sell medical devices within a defined geographic area. You will build durable relationships with distributors and clinicians, pursue opportunities, and deliver product education to maximize patient care benefits.

Your role centers on meeting sales targets, conducting market research, and collaborating with R&D, Operations, and Marketing to iterate strategies and improve customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must have at least a High School Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years of sales experience, or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
• Associate’s Degree with 2+ years of sales experience is acceptable.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher with relevant sales, clinical, or life sciences experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and sells Medtronic products and services within an assigned geographic area to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Develops and maintains long-term relationships with distributors and healthcare professionals.
• Pursues leads, assesses customer needs, and provides product services to maximize benefits of Medtronic offerings.
• Promotes product education and provides information to customers and staff.
• Conducts market research on customers and competitive activities.
• Implements market development plans and updates strategies as needed.
• Communicates customer feedback to internal teams (R&D, Operations, Marketing).
• Builds and maintains key customer relationships and sales processes across accounts.
