Job summary

BD is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in Innovation and NPD within the AAD platform of the MDS Business Group. This role emphasizes on-site collaboration, strong program leadership, and navigating medical device development dynamics.

The candidate should hold a BS in an engineering field and bring 10+ years in product development/design, with 3–5 years in medical devices, plus at least 5 years of project management experience. PMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams in product development and NPD.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and lifecycle stages.
• Experience in medical device development and regulatory environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive Innovation and NPD in the AAD platform within the MDS Business Group.
• Apply broad project management knowledge including customer scope, WBS, risk management, and product requirements.
• Deliver projects on-time through transparent execution.
• Act as an agile problem solver and senior project leadership figure.
• Influence solutions and resolve business and technical challenges at all levels.
• Communicate strategic and technical directions clearly to project teams.
• Identify new avenues for excellence and drive action without prompting.
• Understand business drivers and support business case development.
