Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or closely related field.
• At least 10 years of product development and design experience, with 3–5 years in medical devices (Class II).
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• Experience driving remediation and/or sustaining engineering projects.
• Preferred: advanced engineering degree or PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a cross-functional team to drive Innovation and NPD in the AAD platform.
• Apply project management principles including scope, WBS, risk management and product requirements.
• Deliver projects on-time through transparent execution.
• Act as agile problem solver and team champion across the organization.
• Influence solutions and resolve business and technical problems at all levels.
• Communicate strategically to direct project and technical direction.
• Identify new opportunities and act proactively to improve timelines.
• Understand market growth drivers and influence business cases.
• Guide cross-functional teams through mid-scale projects and phase gate plans.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and FDA submissions.
