Job summary

BD is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Columbus, NE to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electronic and mechanical equipment in a cGMP environment. You will read blueprints, troubleshoot failures, and work with QA/Engineering on changes while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include equipment installation, PLC awareness, spare parts inventory, and supporting engineering projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
• Experience with hydraulic, electric, pneumatic systems is expected.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, diagnose causes and repair equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain parts inventory and support projects.
• Assist with installation, IQ testing and commissioning of new equipment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement to reduce costs and waste.
• Train operators and assist with machine setups and operation.
