Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC is seeking a Medium Duty Truck Salesperson to sell new and used medium duty trucks by engaging established customers and developing new prospects within an assigned territory. The role requires broad knowledge of the company’s services, products, and marketing techniques, with a focus on direct sales in the Memphis area.

The position emphasizes customer relationships, product knowledge, and collaboration with parts and service teams to achieve market penetration.

Qualifications

• CDL required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• High energy level and positive attitude.
• Product knowledge is required or preferred.
• Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within territory.
• Maintains contacts with customers; stays current on market trends.
• Identifies and profiles prospective customers; develops order strategies.
• Coordinates with parts, service, and sales teams to penetrate market.
• Keeps records and reports on all activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
