Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to execute basic cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying) and follow standardized recipes accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper handling and storage of ingredients.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Attention to detail in plating, portion control, and consistency of presentation.
• Effective communication skills in a collaborative kitchen environment.
• Reliability in attendance, punctuality, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a high-heat kitchen.
• Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred; Mediterranean cuisine familiarity is a plus.
• Willingness to learn, take direction from kitchen leadership, and adapt to changing service needs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to recipes and standards.
• Set up and stock line stations; cook, plate, and present dishes.
