Job summary

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in San Antonio, TX is seeking a passionate Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. You will craft bold Mediterranean dishes and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing menu items, keeping a clean workstation, operating grills and fryers, and collaborating with staff to ensure timely service. You should have experience as line or prep cook and a commitment to food safety.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a line cook or prep cook.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute menu items according to The Great Greek's recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation throughout each shift.
• Operate grills, fryers, sauté stations, and other kitchen equipment safely and proficiently.
• Monitor food freshness, portion control, and presentation consistency.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth, timely ticket execution during service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health code regulations.
• Assist with prep work, inventory, and restocking as needed.
