Job summary

Platinum Communities seeks a Medication Technician to deliver high-quality personal care and safe medication administration in a resident-focused environment. You will work under the Administrator, review ISPs, mentor new staff, and support multiple departments to maintain a clean, safe community.

You must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, complete CBRF medication training, and demonstrate strong English communication, confidentiality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required and CBRF training completed.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong observation and communication skills, reliable and team oriented.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality protocols.
• Willing to work weekends/holidays and flexible hours.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and document per policy.
• Review ISP and report changes in resident condition.
• Provide ADL assistance and personal care.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment; light housekeeping.
• Assist dietary and activities staff as needed.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff during onboarding.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and secure resident information.
• Attend meetings and participate in ongoing in-service education.
