Job summary

Platinum Communities seeks a Medication Technician to provide high-quality personal care and administer medications per policy. You will review ISPs, monitor residents, and support multiple departments to maintain a clean and safe living environment.

Role involves mentoring new staff, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and fostering a respectful, resident-centered atmosphere while upholding DHS/CBRF guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and required trainings.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Strong observation and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible to work beyond regular hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per policy.
• Review ISP and report changes in resident condition.
• Maintain medication records and proper storage of meds.
• Assist with ADLs and daily resident care.
• Provide support to dietary, activities, and housekeeping as needed.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff.
