Job summary

Platinum Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Medication Technician to provide safe, accurate medication administration and direct resident care in accordance with ISP plans and DHS regulations.

You will monitor residents for changes, support ADLs, help with meal and activity needs, and mentor new caregiving staff while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, CBRF training, and flexibility for weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of CBRF medication administration training and core trainings.
• Experience in a CBRF or RCAC setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong observation, communication, and interpersonal skills; compassionate and team oriented.
• Flexible to work weekends/holidays and learn new technology.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications following Six Rights and document accordingly.
• Review ISPs and report changes in resident condition.
• Assist with ADLs and resident care.
• Maintain a clean, safe living environment.
• Collaborate with dietary, activities, and maintenance teams.
• Mentor new caregiving staff during onboarding.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and privacy protections.
• Attend mandatory meetings and continuing education.
