Job summary

Platinum Communities in Wisconsin is seeking a Medication Technician to provide high quality personal care and safely administer medications in accordance with regulations.

You will review ISPs, monitor resident changes, mentor new staff, and support other departments to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming community.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, CBRF training, and strong communication skills; flexible with weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Complete CBRF medication administration training.
• Previous caregiving experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Strong observation, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per policy.
• Review ISP before assuming care responsibilities.
• Mentor and train new caregiving staff.
• Provide ADL assistance to residents/tenants.
• Maintain clean, safe living environment.
• Collaborate with dietary/activities/maintenance teams.
